Homecoming Sunday
Sunday, Sept. 6, the Lydia Bap
tist church will have its annual
homecoming.
At the morning worship service
the Rev. Marion Moorhead, mis
sionary to Japan, on furlough, and
a former pastor, will speak.
Everyone is asked to bring din
ner which will be served imme
diately following the morning wor
ship service. Tea will be furnished
and also plates, cups and forks.
All members, former members

Goes To Ninety-Six School
Friends of Miss Betty Jean

she left Sunday to make her home
with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Adams m

school this year.

Teacher Honored
On Friday afternoon Miss Jan
Harvey, assisted by her mother,
Mrs. Marvin Harvey, entertained
with a party honoring her Sunday
school teacher. Mrs. W. E. Ellis.
Several games were played and
pictures were made of the group
who were members of the class.
Refreshments of cup cakes, pea-
nus and grape punch were served

The lone Wallace kindergarten
