Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rooney and son, Bill, are vacationing this week at Garden City. Friends of Mrs. Eric Barnes will be interested to know she under went an operation this week at the Memorial hospital in Charlotte and is improving at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Matheson, in Mooresville, N. C. Mrs. L. B. Dillard spent the week-end in Greensboro, N. C., with her daughter and sori-in-law Rev. and Mrs. Allen McSween and family. Ellen and Kit McMaster of Winnsboro, are visiting their grandmother, Mrs. Hugh Simpson. Mrs. George W. Taylor is-^pend ing this week at Pawley’s Island. She was joined by other members of her family for a vacation.
