Mr. and Mrs. S. A. League and
children spent several days last
week in the Cherokee mountains
and attended the pageant, “Unto
These Hills.”
Mrs. J. M. Bozard and Miss Mil
dred Bozard visited Mr. and Mrs.
R. R. Cash in Cowpens last week
and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Griffin
in Pendelton.
Mrs. Moody Johnson and Miss
Elizabeth Ann Howe are spending
several days in Spartanburg this
week as guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas M. Howe.
Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Bagg and
daughter, Ann, visited relatives in
Hiwassee Dam, N. C., several days
during vacation week. An uncle
of Mrs. Bragg, Tom Saunders, ac
companied them home for a visit.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Humphries
and Mike, were Sunday guests of
the former’s brother, Bailey Hum
phries, and Mrs. Humphries in
Rock Hill.
Mrs. Sonny Mode and children
visited Mrs. Mode’s sister in Pine-
ville, N. C., several days last week
and Mr. Mode joined the family for
the wek-end.
Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Abrams and
children, Linda and Jim, Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Hunnicutt, Dale and
Jackie, spent last week at Put
nam’s Landing on Lake Murray.
Ms. Charlie Coleman and Her
man Coleman spent several days
last week visiting their son and
brother, Fred Coleman, in Texas
Mrs. Joe Abrams is spending this
week in Lyman with Mr. arid Mrs
Sherman Reid.

sons spent Wednesday at Folly
Beach.

C., several days last week.

Chief Petty Officer Colie Gruber
of Nofolk, Va., is spending a 21-
day leave with Mrs. Gruber and

last week in Palm Harbor, Fla.,
visiting relatives.

regret to learn he has been a pa
tient at Hays hospital. Mr. Jen
kins is recuperating at his home on
Pickens street.
Mrs. Nora Boyce was a patient
at the local hospital last week.
Boyce Oyner is a patient at Jo
anna hospital.
On July 6th Mrs. Ruby Medlock
of Kinards underwent surgery at
Joanna hospital.
Sorry to report Mrs. William
Dunlap underwent a tonsilectomy
at the local hospital Tuesday.
