/ r Thurdsya, July 2, 1953 THE CLINTON CHRONICLE Pa** Fir# Jlealtli IkouqliU By DR. J. W. JONES. JR. , Many people wonder why a Chiropractor is so inteested in the spine when often the com plaint may be located in the stomach, kidneys, liver, legs, eyes or some other portion of the body. Chiropractors are interested in the spine because it houses the main channel of life force . . . . the spinal cord. The spinal cord and nervous system comprise the main com munication system'in your body, carrying messages to and from the brain and every microscopic cell. When the lines of communica tion are open the messages get through and all is well, health is abundant—provided that mode ration is the keynote of living. When there is a blockage to normal transmission it means one or more of the bones of the spine are misplaced slightly from normal position. By scientific adjustment the Chiropractor re-aligns, restores to normal, that segment of the spine causing the interference or blockage to life energy. You are cordially invited to in vestigate, learn the facts con cerning modern scientific Chi ropractic. (One of a series of articles pub lished in the public interest to explain and illustrate the prac tice of scientific Chiropractic, written by Dr. J. W. Jones, Jr., whose offices are located over Prather-Simpson Furniture Co., Clinton. Telephone 1023.) WEEK-END TRIPS . . VISITORS . .
