Mrs. Nabors accompanied Misses Dunlap and Stroud on “Mister Po liceman” and “Meditation.” The following -played selections on the program: Billy Chisholm, Melinda Stroud, Brenda Bedenbaugh, Jill League, Linda Bedenbaugh, Dickie Trotter, Shirleen Tucker, Sandra Salter, Loretta Tucker, Francine Johnson, Margaret White, Willie Rae Mc Gowan, Brenda O’Dell, Patty Chis holm and Judy Dunlap. Immediately following the pro gram the hostess, assisted by her mother, Mrs. E. J. Willingham, served punch and cookies from a lace-covered table. Mixed summer flowers, with roses predominating, were used profusely throughout the dub rooms. Baptist Church Circles Meet During Week On last Thursday evening forty- two intermediates of the Joanna Baptist church went to Lake Greenwood for a weiner roast. The Frances Watson circle of the church met in the Young People’s department on Thursday evening. The scripture reading was given by Mrs. Freeman Evans. Those tak ing part on the program were Mrs. Janet Tlardner and Mrs. Chris Dav enport. There v were 6 members present. • j The Hilliard Mitchell circle of the church met in the Intermediate department on Thursday evening. The scripture was given by Mrs. Harold Miirphy.
