As I enter the closing days of this campaign for a seat in the Congress of the United States from our great Fourth District, I am greatly encouraged. I feel that the citizens of Laurens county understand that I have not been able to see them all personally, knowing that I have four counties to cover in such a short time. I feel that I have an excellent chance to win if the people of Laurens County will come to the polls on June 2nd. The response from the three other counties — Green ville, Spartanburg and Union — has exceeded my great est expectations. Robert C.
