Friends will regret to hear she suffered a broken leg injury Friday. Mr and Mrs. W. W. Hendrix of Greenwood, were recent visitors of Mr and Mrs. Clyde Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Emory and family attended the annual Emory leunion which was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Quy Emory, Sr., in Enoree Sunday. William Byars of Joanna, visited Mr. and Mrs. Henry Abercrombie I Sunday. Friends of Jesse Abercrombie, 1 who is a patient at the Veteran’s 1 hospital in Columbia, will be glad! to l^ear he was able to spend a few: days at home during Easter. He has returned to the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Pearson and children spent Easter in Woodruff with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Pearson and Mr. and Mrs. F. T. Bailey.
