Garden Club Units To Meet Monday The Yellow Jasmine Garden club will meet Monday, September 22, at 3:30 at the home of Mrs. R. M. League, with Mrs. Pluss Brown as _ co-hostess. The Green Garden club will meet with Mrs. Robert M. Vance, the 22nd, at 4 o’clock. The Sunibonnet club has postponed their meeting until September 29, which will be held at the home of "Mrs. Marshall Brown, at 4 o’clock. The Caroline Wren club will meet at 4 o’clock Monday, the 22nd, at the home of Mrs. Cecil Wilson on Centennial street. Bowl§ of. marigolds and spider lilies added attractiveness to the hostess’ home for the meetings. Mrs. Wilmot Shealy had the af ternoon’s program on the purpose and origin of the organization and as membership chairman she told of plans for a membership drive. Mrs. Thomas Baldwin gave the program for the evening meeting and discussed “What the Legion Auxiliary Means and What It Does.” During the business ses sion announcement was made of the district fall rally to be held on October 2 in Greer and all members were invited to attend.
