South attended the graduation exercises at the Zion school near LaFrance Friday eve ning, and was an overnight visitor of her mother, Mrs. J. E. Rhodes. Her sister, Joyce, returned with her for a visit of several days. Mrs. Royce Smith, Patsy, and Carey Smith, Mr. and Mrs. John Keath and Mary Jane of Ware Snoals, attended the May Day event here recently. Mrs. J. H. Seay and Miss Feroline Seay of West Clinton, also lattended the event. Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Humphries and children of Fountain Inn, w f ere Sunday visitors of Rev. and Mrs. R. D. Gregg. Friends of Rev. and Mrs, R. D. Gregg will sympathize with them in the death of the latter’s mother, which occurred in Georgia last week. Leaders Association Meeting The Clinton Leaders association met in the Lydia Community cen ter Tuesday evening with Mrs. J. B. Tempdeton, chairman, presid ing. After a short business meeting, Mrs. George Bellingrath had charge of the program and was assisted by Mrs. lone Wallace and together they presented a day’s work in a Campfire Girls day camp. The leaders took the part of Campfire Girls and began the program with a flag raising ceremony. A devo tional was given followed by the singing of several Campfire songs and rounds, and games. The hostess served lunch and an hour of crafts was enjoyed. On Sunday immediately after the services the members and their families enjoyed a picnic out at Camp Fellowship near Cross Hill in recognition of the services of Mlacolm Bullock and G. E.
