Young has return ed to her home after visiting her daughter, Mrs. Harry Williams, Mr. Williams and infant son in Char lotte, N. C. J Dr. and Mrs. John McSween were in Myrtle Beach over the week end to attend the meeting of the State Medical association. Dr. Mc Sween was one of the principal speakers for the convention. Mr. and Mrs. Larry I. Swift of DesMoines, Iowa and Mr. and Mrs. Donald B. Winslow of Sanford, Me., Miss Florence Blakely of Dur ham, N. C., and Mr. and Mrs. H. R. McLeod and small son of McBee were week-end guests of their par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bldkely and other relatives. Ann Hart and Miralyn Bell of Greenwood spent the week-end with Mrs. E. B. Pinson and daugh ters. Friends of Mrs. D. C. uestess will regret to learn she is a patient at the General Hospital in Greenville. She was accompanied there last week by Mrs. George Thomas and daughter, Judith, of Union. Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Burton vis ited their son, Henry, at Clemson College in Clemson Snuday, who accompanied them on a trip to the mountains of North Carolina. Mr. and Mrs. John Jordan were week-end visitors in Greenville. Mr. and Mrs. Denny Pitts and small sons, Willie, were Sunday guests of Mrs. Ethel Pitts, Miss Jeanette Pitss and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wing and Ann Cordes of Atlanta, Ga., were week-end guests of their daughter and aunt, Mrs. Newton Jones and Dr. Jones. • Mr. and Mrs. Howard Smith left Monday for a vacation trip in the mountains of North Carolina and Virginia. Mr and Mrs. Caldwell Hender son were in Walterboro Saturday evening for the wedding of Miss Betty Black and Dr. William Pres ton McDaniel. Mrs. E. J. Adair and Mrs. George Gambrell have returned from an extended visit with their sister, Mrs. Sara McDonald, in West Palm Beach, Fla. Friends of Mrs. Adair will be glad to know she is improv ing after an operation illness. Mr. and Mrs. J. Ferguson left Sunday to attend the Triple Mills Supply convention in Atlantic City, N. J., and to attend a Boy Scout convention in New York City. Mrs. C. B.
