B. j O’Shields, B. F, Harvey and J. B. Neal. Party Honors Miss Harvey Miss Maude Harvey was honored with a surprise birthday party at the home of Mrs. A. M. Shumate recently. Thirty-eight guests were pres ent with games and contests being enjoyed by the group. Miss Harvey received many use ful gifts which were opened. Hostesses for this occasion were Mrs. A. M. Shumate, Mrs. Mattie Harvey, Mrs. Ella Harvey and Mrs. Alma Harvey. Refreshments of congealed salad, potato chips, cookies and cake along with soft drinks were served. Prasbyterian Christmas Party The Lydia Presbyterian church, will have a Christmas party at the community house Thursday, Dec. 13, at 7 o’clock. Each member is to bring a gift costing not less than 50c nor more than $1.00. The men are to bring gifts for men women for women, etc. There will be en tertainment and refreshments.
