Corr*fpondent and Representative Kelly King and James Wilson went deep sea fishing at George town recently an^ caught seven fish weighing from 24 to 28 pounds M-Sgt. and Mrs. Claude Smith visited Mr. Smith’s brother, Clyde Smith and family in Camden. He also visited Mr. and Mrs. Derean in Cross Keys, Fla. Mrs. Adell Ellison and children spent the past week-end with her daughter at Pacolet recently. Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Hedspeth and Mrs. Mary Passmore visited Sgt. and Mrs. L. R. Foster in Fay etteville, N. C., last week-end. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Meadors and children spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Bell in Spar tanburg. Sgt. Don Moore and Jim Strange were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wilson the past week-end. Sgt. Moore is the brother of Mrs. Wil son. He has been stationed in Arabia the past two years. Eugene Price is visiting Mr. and Mrs. George Price. Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Owens and son of Gaffney, visited Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Owens Sunday. Hubert Leopard visited his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. George Leopard near Saluda Sunday. Miss Ruth Lowery visited her mother, Mrs. C. E. Lowery, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Braswell, Mrs. Jack Griffin and children. Mrs. Martha Dover, Miss Hazel Holmes visited in Greenville and Easley Sunday. Mrs. Wirt Jen nings and Michael returned home with them for a visit. To Attend 4-H Meet In Columbia Robert Lee Hill, Mountville, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Hill; Eddie Jones, Mountville, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Jones, and Mack George, Laurens, Rt. 3 f son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Scott George, as county winners, will attend the 4-H Achievement meeting in Columbia Friday and Saturday. Also Myra and Betty Bums of Mountville, and Nancy Dodson, Hickory Tavern, are coun ty winners and will also attend. J. S. Boozer, assistant county agent, making the trip possible by donat ing the expenses for totel and meals will attend the meeting with the six club members from Laurens county.
