Dr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson re turned today to their home in Pine Bluff, Ark., after a visit with the for mer’s aunt, Mrs. George W. Bailey. Also guests of Mrs. Bartley during the week were Mrs. Locke Simons and daughter, Mary Locke, of Allendale. Miss Louise Buford spent several days the past week in Atlanta. Miss Jean Williams, who teaches in Woodruff, spent the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Wil liams, near here. Mr.* and Mrs. W. R. Anderson were guests of relatives in Tifton, Ga., for the holidays. Mrs. George W. Taylor spent sev eral days last week with her son-in- law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Roberts, in Carthage, N. C. Rev. and Mrs. W. B. Thorne of Chesnee, visited their daughter, Mrs. Vernon Trammell, and Mr. Trammell for the Thanksgiving holidays. Mrs. Wilson Tyson and children of Estill, spent the holidays with her mother, Mrs. Arthur Little. Mr. Ty son accompanied them here. Miss Florrie Summer has returned to her home in Kinards following an appendix operation at Hays hospital. Miss Betty Taylor spent the week end in Aiken with friends. Friends of little Billy Pitts, son of Mr. and Mre. W. R. Pitts, Jr., will be interested to know he is convalescing at Hays hospital following an ap pendectomy Monday.
