Lake Success, Nov. 13—Tibet ap pealed to the United Nations today to rescue her from the Chinese Com munist invader. A 1,400-word cable, coming two days after the Chinese Reds in effect defied the security council even to question them about their presence in northern Korea, seemed doomed to go unheeded. The council ignored today the Communist refusal to come here ’to explain their actions in Korea, but it was understood the U. S. and oth er Western delegations would ask the council Wednesday to order their withdrawal from the front. The Tibetan message, sent by Fi nance Minister Tsepon Shakabpa to U. N. Secretary General Trygve Lie, posed knotty complications, since some delegations do not consider Ti bet a nation. Even Nationalist China, bitterest enemy of the Chinese Reds, sees eye to eye with them on the status of Ti bet as Chinese territory. Tibet is not a U .N. member and no action on the appeal can be tak en unless it finds a sponsor. So far none of the 11 security council mem bers indicated any desire to take up the case. WALKER) Mrs. Emmett Walker of Middles- boro, Ky., writes: “I had suffered spells of gassy stomach distress for 12 years but I seemed to grow much worse after a throat operation. My tongue seemed so raw every bite I ate hurt me so that I was on an oat meal diet. Sometimes I couldn’t bend over I was so sore about my stomach. I often had blind spots before my eyes and blinding headaches. “After taking the first bottle of Scalf’s Indian River Medicine I could rest better and started eating a little, then as I got better I began to eat different foods. Soon I was able to eat anything I wanted, even onions, without suffering pain. The balanced diet soon helped me to go from 100 lbs. to 126 lbs. in weight and I felt better than in 12 years.” Scalfs Indian River Medicine is on sale at all good drug stores on a money-back guarantee of satisfaction from the very first bottle.
