Lawson Pomes Jesse L. Lawson, 59. died Monday afternoon at the Blalock clinic after a brief illness. He was a native of Union county but had made his home in Laurens' county for a number of years. He was a member of the Baptist church. 1 Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillie; Mae Lawson; two sons, Lewis of Clinton and James Lawson of Green ville; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Mel ton of Clinton, and Mrs. Ruby Turner of Miami, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs.! Mamie Easter of Clinton, and Miss Emma Lawson of Union county, and one brotner, Henry Lawson of Clin- ton. [ Funeral services were held Wed nesday nis home near here, con-! emoted by the Rev.
