'ms- mi Make paving dollars go further with CONCRETE It’s your money, Mr. Motorist—your gas taxes, license fees and other taxes—that pays for roads and streets. Portland cement concrete gives you the biggest pavement value for these dollars because: 1. Concrete usually costs less to build than other pavements of equal load-carrying capacity. 2. Concrete costs less to maintain. i* 3. Concrete renders years of uninterrupted service. 4. Concrete reflects the most light, reducing street lighting costs as much as 50 per cent. * 5. Concrete keeps driving costs low by saving on gas, tires and car repairs. Thousands of miles of concrete pavement more than 25 years old carry much of the heaviest highway traffic and are still good for years. That’s the kind of value you get when your tax dollars buy concrete pavement. So ask your public officials to specify concrete pavement. PORTLAND CEMENT ASSOCIATION Hurt BuiMliif, AHuntu 3, Ou.
