Major Ross and family will leave-in August for Fort Sill, Okla homa, where he will attend the ad vanced bourse of the artillery school. Mrs. W. W. Hair and Miss Ruth Hair spent a few] days last week with Mrs. Hair’s daughter, Mrs. Fred Wheeler, and Mjv^wheeler in States ville, N. C. Miss Marilyn Motes of Macon, Ga., is spending a few days with Rev. and Mrs. James B. Mitchell. John Flow spent the vacation week at Lake Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Galloway visited the former’s brother, Tom my Galloway, and Mrs. Galloway at Oak Ridge, Tenn., last week. Mr. and Mrs. C. D.
