Honored With Tea
Mrs. Tommy Hollis entertained
informally at tea Wednesday after
noon at the home of .her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Payne, in com T
pliment to Miss Ann Blakely whose
wedding took place Saturday.
A pink and white color scheme
was effectively carried out in the
appointments and refreshments for
the party which assembled about
twenty-five friends of the honor-
ee. Roses, sweet peas, hydrangeas
and gladioli were included in the
floral decoration. The tea table
overlaid with a cut work cloth, was
centered with a milk glass epergne
containing pink hydrangeas
gardenias.
Miss Ethel Hunter served pink
rose ice cream molds with cake,
mints and punch. Also assisting
was Miss Irene Hipp.
Each guest was asked to write a
