Joanna Improves Baseball Field In expectatisqifi of a successful base ball season at Joanna, the present baseball field is being enlarged and improved in many respects. The old] granJstFn(J"''Iias'”beSrr”reTrroved~aTid' grading and moving of earth has been in progress preparatory for the construction of a new cement grand stand section in addition to the ce ment bleacher section which was constructed last year. Home plate will be moved back about 70 feet from the point which it occupied last year, giving a con siderably larger field which will in all probability decrease the number of home runs in the future. Plans are in effect for rebuilding and repairing the enclosing fence. Up - to - date shower and dressing rooms for both the home team and the visiting team will be provided.
