Scogin were guests of relatives in Colbert, Ga., on Sunday. Mrs. W. O. McKinney of Ander son is spending the week with Mr. and Mrs. Diirward Murdock. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Gantt of Greenville spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. I. Dixon in Renno. Recent guests of Mrs. J. C. Wells and family were W. S. Hill and daughter, Delores of Washington, Mrs. Ernest Sanders of Anderson and Miss Myrtle Chandler of Mc Cormick. Mrs. Mary Beall and son, Milton of Washington arrived yes terday for a visit with the Wells. They will be accompanied home by Beall who has been spending the summer here. Kay Thomas spent a few days last week in Gastonia, N. C., with Rhett and John Little Carson.
