Scott of Easley i who was the guest speaker on the topic of study “Summer Gardening”. ! Later a social hour was enjoved and ! the hostess served sandwiches, pound cae, punch and mints. The Rose group met at the home ^of Mrs. D. B. Smith. I Mrs. John T. Young discussed “Summer Gardening” as the after- j noon’s program after which a bus- , mess session was held. During a ao- i cial hour Mrs. Smith assisted by ' the co-hostesses served punch, sand- i wiches and cooikes. Greenville, mother of the groom wore grey with a corsage of white gardenias. Immediately following the rites the wedding party was invited to the home of Captain and Mrs. Moore where the wedding cake was cut. Later in the afternoon the young couple left for a wedding trip. For travel the bride wore a navy blue suit, white blouse apd gloves, navy accessories and an orchid corsage. The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Herron of Rorqe, Ga. and attended the schools of that city. The groom is the son of Mrs. Her bert Lindsay, Sr., and the late Mr. Lindsay of Greenville and a grad uate of Greenville high school. Both Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay will graduate from Presbyterian college in June. After a wedding trip they are re siding in the home of Mrs. W. P. Jacobs.
