Birthday Party For Son , Mrs. Hubert Owens of near Clin ton, gave a party honoring her small son, Stanley, on Saturday eve ning. Stanley was six years old, and seventeen little invited guests helped him celebrate tht occasion. In the games and contests the East er motif was carried out. Later pic tures of the children were taken. Mrs. Owens was assisted by Mrs. C. P. Wofford, Stanley's maternal grandmother, and Mrs. J. O. Teague served refreshments. Tuesday afternoon, March 22, at her home at Lydia Mills after a short 1 illness. . / - She is survived by* her parents;) one brother, Charles Mitchell Har ris, all of Lydia Mills; her grandpar ents, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Harris of near Clinton, and Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Prather of Lydia Mills. Funeral services were held Thurs day afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Lydia Mill Baptist church, with the Rev. J. H. Walker in charge, assisted by Rev. Mr. Chastinc. Interment was in Rosemant cemetery here. Pallbearers were James Bailey, David Satterfield, Izzie Miller and Casey Abercrombie.
