Page Two 7, ' 'r»r - To Receive Bids For New Hotel Here On March 22 Specificatioons for the new Clin ton Community Hotel have been ■ i ompleted by the architect as ap- noved by the board of directors. The plans and specifications are now in the hands of several contrac tors and bids will be received up to 2:30 p m , March 22, 1949, at which •.me they will be opened and read publicly at the high school building, the board of directors has announced. The first floor of the proposed ho- •e; contains the lobby, clerk's office, manager's office, coffee shop seat- ng To, kitchen and storage, banquet hall seating a little more than 200, a two-room manager’s apartment with bath, ladies and men’s rest rooms, chair storage and hat check toom On the same floor, complete- y cut off from the other floor space, will be the boiler and fuel room. The second floor has 20 rooms, all with bath, and a linen room is pro vided on this floor. The third floor has 21 rooms, all with bath, giving a capacity of 41 rooms, 17 double and 24 single. If acceptable bids can be secured the board o: directors plan fo pro ceed with the construction of the building, this beiqg the concensus of the stockholders meeting recently held.
