G. Putnam and family. Woman’s Society Meets The Woman’s Society of Christian Service held their monthly meeting | at the church last Tuesday evening, with Miss Louise Waldrop and Mrs.! Robert Folk as hostesses. The president presided over the business hour. Routine business was discussed. Mrs. B. W. Oxner, Mrs. J. M. Ross and Mrs. Joe Abrams were ejected to attend the meeting in Co lumbia to be held this month. The hostesses served embrosia, cake and coffee. In Sympathy The community extends deepest sympathy to Mrs. James Leaman in the' death of her brother, Lindsey. Funeral services were held in Whit mire Tuesday afternoon.
