In the dining room a yellow color note predominated, the floral arrangement for the table being chrysanthemums, flanked by lighted tapers in crystle candelabra. Schnider of Haines City, Florida, announce the marriage of their daughter, Margue rite Lucille, to Milton A. Milam, v Jr. The wedding took place October 1|T7 at the First Presbyterian church of Hollywood, Florida. Mr. Milam, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton A. Milam, j Sr., of this city, has been in naval i service six years. The couple is now making their home in Green cove Springs, Florida where Mr. Milam is 1 stationed. High School Group ' To Stage Carnival The tenth grade of Clinton high school will stage a carnival in the high school building Friday night at 7:30, according to Donny Wilder, class president. i Bingo, dancing, a hall of horrors, fortune telling, grab bags and an auc tion will be, featured during the fes tivities. Homemade cakes, candies, hot dogs and other delicacies will be on sale. Miss Eloise Miller is adviser chair man o the group. A small admis sion will be charged. Proceeds will go toward financing class activities. Gala Songfest Planned At College The public is cordially invited to attend a songfest, sponsored by the Student Christian Association of Presbyterian college, in Wife college - chapel in Thursday night, Dec. 11, at 7:30 o’clcok. Local chapters of six fraternities, the P. C. glee club, P. C. quartet, a P. C. hillbilly band, and several in dividuals will compete in the presen- WE BET tation of musical talent. The six chapters represented are Alpha Lambda Tau, Alpha Sigma-Phi, Kap pa Alpha, Pi Kappa Alpha, Pi Kap pa Phi and Theta Chi. A cup will be presented to the winner selected by five judges. vUnder the direction at William Mc Millan, a sophomore from Jackson ville, Fla., and member of SCA cabi net, extensive plans are being made 'to make this occasion a gala affair for the holiday season. Assisting him are members of the SCA cabinet. Immediately after the songfest a buffet supper will be held in Judd dining hall. The PC band will fur nish Christmas music during the ! feast.
