County Hospital Needs To Be Studied Under Federal Program Columbia, Sept, 10 — (£peci$ to The Chronicle).—The priority number that Laurens county will hold under the hospital construction program au thorized by Congress under the Hatch- Burton bill , or Publice Law 752 ^, will be determineed by the county’s need for additional hospital facilities. This has been pointed out by Dr. C. L. Guyton, who is director of the State Board of Health’s hospital di vision, which is administering the program in South Carolina. Dr. Guyton stated that the county's needs will be determined by the num ber of hospital beds available in pro portion to the county population.
