While there she was the guest of her aunt, Miss Janie Holland. Mrs. F. C. Pinson is visiting her sister, Miss Annie Clardy, in Dillon. Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Dillard spent Sunday in Lincolxrton, N. C., with their daughter, Mrs. Allen McSween. Their little grandson, Allen, Jr., is recovering nicely following an ap pendectomy at a hospital there on Saturday. Friends of W. M. Perdue sympa thize with him in the death of his sister, Mrs. Nancy Perdue Hamm, or. Thursday in Newberry. Mrs. L. B. Marion returned to her home here Monday after an eye ope ration at a Charlotte, N. C., hospital. Her friends will be interested to know she is reported as improving satisfactorily. Mrs. V.
