W. Watkins and Marie Cro mer scholarships provided by the Laurens County Council of Farm Women are not in use at the pres ent time Anyone interested in the scholarships is asked to contact Mrs. L. L. Young, county chairman of education. Rules pertaining to the scholar ships follow. 1. Applicant must be in good health, good character and pref erence given to applicant if member of a church, 2. Applicant must have finished on accredited high school and be prepared for college or successful- y pass the college entrance exami nation. 3.
