son. A profusion of white cut flow
ers in white snapdragons and gladi
oli, and on the dining room table
miniature white chrysanthemums
were also effectively used.
Several games of rummy were en
joyed and later salad and sweet
courses were served.
Mrs. Irene Pitts and Mrs. Ralph
Holcomb assisted in serving and en
tertaining.
When scores were counted Miss
Martharene Pitts was winner of high
score prize and Miss Jeanette Pitts
low score prize. Miss Adair, was
given a piece of silver in her chosen
pattern.

For the occasion the Leake home

ed. Sprays of pyracantha berries
were arranged on the mantel and on
tables in the living room.
The traditional green and white
color note wds used in the dining
room. Adorning the table were white
snapdragons and fern flanked by
burning tapers in candelabra. Bowls
of cut flowers and silver candelabra
were also arranged on the buffet.
Sandwiches, cheese biscuit, fruit
cake, Russian tea and mints were
served.

bride of Ralph Dula, of Laurens, at
four o’clock on Sunday afternoon,
