Mrs. McMillan is the attractive daughter of Mrs. A. M. Mode of Can ton, and the late Mr. Mode. She is a graduate of Furman university, fol lowing which she held the position as secretary to the dean of the univer sity. Capt. McMillan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jodie C. McMillan of this city, is a graduate of Clemson college. He served 27 months overseas with the 101st Airborne division.
