We will appreciate^ aid not only from our employees but also from the residents of this neighborhood to help ^s get the people we need: - - ; 1 To the Employees of the Hallmark Manufacturing f Corporation You have undoubtedly heard' that within the next couple pf weeks we will be making shirts again for the Army. The need for shirts is very great, as you can see by the fact that the Army is ordering^about twelve million shirts and every shirt factory in the industry is tieing required to help make these shirts, delivery of which must be made within three months. * , • ^ We will need and can use an indefinite number of reliable workers to help with these Army shirts and to continue in our employ on civilian shirts afterwards. * ■ i ^ i I am asking all of our employees to contact friends and relatives who may be interested in coming to work. If you know any who are experi enced operators on shirt making, we can use such people very well; others who are nok experienced we can use, between the ages of 18 and 35. We particularly peed people who can be depended upon to come to work regularly and stick to the job until they have learnecl their operation. Any help that you can give us in this connection will be important in helping the Army get the shirts that it needs/and in helping you also in order that we may keep the factory running efficiently, and it will, of course, help us. We will appreciate anything that our employees do in this connection. Workers will be hired in accordance with regulation^ of the War Manpowers Commission.
