' Lutherans Observing "Week/of Prayer" , This week the Lutheran Mission ary society is observing “week of prayer” with meetings pn Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the church. Using the theme, “Abiding Love,” Mrs. W. O. Derrick led the meeting on Monday, Mrs. J. S. Moose on Wed nesday, and Mrs. R. W. Boland will conclude the series on Friday. Informal Tea For Columbia Student To honor Miss Jane Nicholson, University of South Carolina student, who is visiting her mother, Mrs. Mar garet Nicholson on the orphanage campus, Mrs. Wilson Harris .enter tained a few friends informally at tea on Tuesday afternoon. Spring flowers, including flowering quince, daffodils and hyacinths, adorned the living room. For refreshments tea, sandwiches and cookies were served. The Pooles Have Family Dinner Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Mack Poole entertained with a family dinner. The dining room was attractively decorated with bowls of vari-colored spring flowers. Guests for the occasion were: Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Sanders of Beach Haven Terrace, N. J., Mr. and Mrs. L. L.
