Richard Dunarway was eight years old Tuesday. ,1, Hallowe’en Party / On Friday evening Miss Helen Bagwell entertained a number of friends with a Hallowe’en party hon oring Thomas Wooten and Johnnfe Morris who are home on leave, from the navy. Refreshments were serv ed by Mrs. D. W. Bagwell. Birthday Party On Friday afternoon Richard Riser entertained with. a party given by his mother, Mrs. Leo Riser. A number of little girls and boys, enjoyed games directed by Miss Nel- j lie Dunaway. Mrs. J. J. McGinnis and Mrs. Rob ert McGinnis assisted the hostess in! serving refreshments. Richard was celebrating his tenth birthday. Each little guest remem bered him with a gift. City Schools Set Bock Opening Hour The city schools, effective Monday morning, are now opening at 9:00 in stead of 8:30. The closing hour un der the new schedule will be 3:00 o’clock instead of 2:30.
