Charlton McSwain, who holds a position with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Detroit, Mich., is spending the week with his mother, Mrs. Drucie McSwain. Dr. L. Ross Lynn spent Sunday in Columbus, Ga., where he occupied the pulpit of the First Presbyterian church. Mr. and Mrs. Olin Johnson of ested to know he has been sent to Harrisburg, Pa., for a six weeks course at the air combat intelligence school. Friends of Mrs. B. M. Edwards spent the past week in Miami, Fla., where they attended the wedding of their daughter, Miss Dorothy Edwards, and Lt. Claude V. Lipscomb on March 1. Cpl. and Mrs. J. D. McKee of Gulf port, Miss., arrived Saturday to spend a twelve-day leave with the former’s mother, Mrs. J. D. McKee here, and the latter’s parents, Rev. and Mrs. Paul H. Hartsell, in Abbeville.
