Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Navy are ill at their home on Main street. Instalation Services At Lydia Church Installation services for . the Rev. C. F. Allen as pastor wdll be held on Sunday evening, November 22, at 7:30 at Lydia Presbyterian church, with Rev. C. J. Matthew's presiding. Rev. J. K. Roberts will preach, and Rev. C. A. Calcote r _will charge the pastor.. The charge to the congre gation will be given by Dr. M. W. Brown. Dr. D. J. Woods and Elder E. G. Kay will complete the com mission from the South Carolina 1 Presbytery. The public is invited to attend the 1 installation services. Compliance Reporters In Field For AAA Performance reporters are now in | the rield making the final check for! performance on this year’s AAA 1 program. County Agent C. B. Can- | non. states. Each farmer should j see that all the practices are listed or any corrections, in case there are corrections, on their compliance rec ords. - ’ • November 30 is the final date for spreading agricultural limestone. There are approximately 200 tons yet to be delivered by the lime com pany and it is hoped this delivery will be made at once. Several farm ers have not scattered lime now on their farms. Local Teachers Attend Meet In Columbia The city schools were represented by Superintendent Pat H. Hobson, Ellis P. Stockman, R. E. Mabry, Miss es Irene Workman and Margaret Blakely at the State Superintendence conference of the South Carolina Board of Education held in Colum bia Friday and Saturday. After the conference Saturday morning a meeting of the Council of Delegates of the South Carolina Edu cation Association was held, and at tended by’Miss Blakely, Miss Work man, and Mr. Hobson, members of the association. A talk was given by Dr. Ben D.
