Her flowers were a corsage of sweetheart roses and lilies of the valley. As a bit of sentiment, the bride’s only ornament was a cameo brooch which was worn by her mother at her own marriage and carried a lace handkerchief which her aunt, Mrs. J. C. Drummond, of Fountain Inn, used at her wedding. After the ceremony the guests were invited into the dining room where ther bride’s cake centered the lace-covered table and asters in pas tel shades formed the decorations. After the bride and bridegroom had cut the cake, block ice cream and cake were served, the guests finding own fortunes in the cake. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther L. Young (the for mer Miss Blanche Moore) of this city, and is a graduate of Clinton high school and Tomlinson’s Com mercial college in St. Petersburg, Fla. She attended Presbyterian col lege and before her marriage was connected- with the AAA work at Laurens in the office of County Agent C. B. Cannon. Mr. Fowler is the son of the late ternity, Delta Chi Alpha, Christian leadership group, and Sigma Kappa Alpha, honorary scholastic frater nity. He is now pastor of the First Presbyterian church in Mooresville, N. C., and upon their returp from their wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. McLeod will be at home at the manse in Mooresville.
