Must File Price Data With OPA By July First. , Local retail merchant! will not be required to file their “cost of living*’ | items in their maximum prices of ! March with the. Office of Price Ad ministration until July 1. The merchants previously had {been notified to have their list filed with the OPA by Monday, June 1st. Obtaining the necessary informa tion about the maximum prices charged for the cost-of-living articles has involved many difficulties, es pecially for the smaller merchants whose records are not always as complete as those of the larger stores. Announcements will be made later as to which office the merchants will send their lists. The new order does not affect the posting of the maximum March pric es for the items in public view at the stores, however. Purpose of filing copies of the maximum costs with the OPA office is to provide the agency with a check in case of complaints. Nursing Classes Held At High School — » i ' The Red Cross home nursing class es wUl be held in the high school auditorium beginning Tuesday, June 9. Classes will be held each Tuesday and Thursday from four until six. All who wish to attend and have not enrolled, may do so this week.
