She is sur vived by her husband and six children, Lonnie and Oliver Paris, Mra. Annie Davis, Mrs. Mina Mead, Anderson Mead and Mrs. Tilda Laney. An in fant grandchild died in the family later Sunday. The said County Chairman shall appoint a sufficient ntunber of Managers and a Secretary for each voting precinct, and the expense of the election shall be paid by‘the said School District. 'The Managers shall tabulate openly the votes as soon as the polls are closed an^ report same to the County BtMird of Education for Laurens County, whereupon the five <6) persons' receiving the highest number of votes shall be commissioned as Trustees for said School District, provided, however, that the three (3) highest shall be commissioned for a period of four (4) years and until their successors nj office qualify, and the next two highest shall be com missioned for a period of two (2) years and until their successors in of- rice qualify. All persons desiring to become candidates in this election shall signify same in person by signed statement in office of the Superin tendent of Education for Laurens County not liter than five o’clock p. m. on the Wednesday preceding the election, and the Mid County Chair man shall cause ballots to be printed containing the names of all candidates who are considered qualified, electors with instructions thereon to “vote” for “five” and furnish the voters with same. . Section 2. Except as is spceifically provided in this Act, all of the provis ions of Act No. 130 of the Statutes at Large for South Carolintf, approved the 26th day of March, 1931, and des ignated as Section 5567 and entitled, “Election of School Trustees in Lau rens County, in Volume 2 of Souths Carolina Code of Laws, 1932, are here'll by re-enacted. Section 3. In addition to the powers, duties and authority, by this Act, vest ed in and imposed upon the Board of Trustees created, named and provided for in this Act, the said board of trus tees and -‘their successors in off\ce shall be vested irith all the powers, duties and^thority conferred and im posed upon boards of school trustees by law. J . Section 8-A. The term of office of the trustees of Hunter School District No. 5 in Laurens County shall be for period of two years, except those appointed to office in Sec^n 1 shall hold office until the end of the tern or terms^ designated in Section 1 of this Act.'
