' ^ Lacl^ Gf (^orum Pravmts Meeting ai The recess meeting of stockholder^ of the Stutz-Hadfield Silk corporation was to have been held Tuesday after noon at three o’clock at the silk mill office. This was in accord with a res olution passed at the annual mfecting of January 28111 that the meeting re-^ cess until March 12th and in the event a quorum should not be present that it stand adjourned. At the meeting Tuesday afternoon only 90 shares of the preferred stock was represented and none of the common stMk. Since there was not a •quorum present the meetii^ was automatically adjourned under the previously adopted resolu tion. - At the meeting, however, the local officers submitted to those present the audit of the affairs of the corporation which has just been completed by John M. Palm & company of Green ville. There was also furnished to those present a financial statement of the affairs of the corporation as ^otf December 31, 1934.^ The silk mill suspended operation several months ago. The $60,000 pre ferred stock held by local shareholdert is now represented by C. W. Stone, J. P. Prather and D. E. "Tribble.
