Henry, phone 327-J. 22-2c Columbia, April 11,—Eighteen per sons were killed and 111 injured in accidents on the highways of South Carolina during IVIarch, a statement issued from the highw’ay department yesterday shows. This compares with seven killed and 91 injured in March of last year. j In the three months of 1934, the re port shows, 65 persons died in acci dents bn the highways and 335 were injured. In the same three months of last year there were 339 accidents, 45 deaths and 276 persons were injured. “Recklessness due to liquor” result ed in 17 of last month’s accidents, “careless” driving in 26, and “reck less” driving 23. Three were the re sult of speeding.
