RESIDENCE OF WATTS DESTROYED BY FIRE Laurens, April 18.—Set on fire by a bolt of lightning during a heavy hunderstorm shortly''after B o’clock Tuesday afternoon the upper .story of the residence of Major W. A. Watts was destroyed before firemen could bring the blase under control. Major Watts and other members of the fam ily were driven out into the drenching rain but none suffered any serious discomfort from the experience.
