Wright, 73, pas^ed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alma McKee, on last P’riday afternoon af ter a long illness. I P. church, and .Mr. Patterron, pastor 'of the A. R. P. church at Lancaster. Mr. Wright had made his home here for several months, during which time he had been in declining nealth. He was an upright citizen, a man of strong c’truracter and Christian faith, loved and admired by those who knew him and appreciated his worth. The deceased is survived by his charged they hired him to do the shooting. Rector succeeded Willis as sheriff. Then Rooks, arrest ed in another case, confessed the slay ing and detailed the story to officers. Dc'spite vigorous denials. Rector and Moore were tried and convicted. Rook.s’ trial was delayed to allow him to testify again.st them.
