Fn m the very beginn'ng,! (Women by their personal influence and by their contributions, made possible the organization and support of the ! various societies and leagues that j were fighting the liquor traffic. •It will hardly be disputed that wo men, aci-ording to every census taken of church groups, constitute much more than a majority of their mem bership. Women’s support of the pro- hiibition cause w^as not lightly under taken, nor will it be IHfhtly forsaken. They ara devoted adherents of a pol icy which means better homek, broad er opportunities for the younger gen eration, and a cleaner civic life. Even in the admittedly wet sections the majority of women favor prohi bition, and that general position finds 'crememfous support even among thej women of the foreign-born and the 1 wives of the sons X)f the foreign-born. That group is not confined the Protestant churches. It is not even j confined to the Christian churches. Ifi transcends church lines and religious groups just as the ravages of liquor transcended all sectarian, 'g^graph- ical, and racial barriers. When the home IS at stake, the overwhelming majority of women will rally to the defense of the home against one of the greatest foes thd earth has ever known. qss You Can Shop With One Stop If You Shop At a QUALITY-SERVICE-SAVINGS STORE OC1AGON SOAP for Your choice of beautiful new pre miums if you save Octagon coupons Guest Ivory Soap 6 for C Lucky Strike Cigarettes —1^,^—— Selox, large pkg., 2 for 25c Skinner’s Macaroni, pkg 8c Bee Brand Spices, 3 for 25c BAI.E.NTiNE’S Boiled Ham, lb 55c I.ANCE'S Peanut Butter, pint 23c Quaker OATS, NEWBERRY Hen Feed, 50 lbs SU2 Grape Juice, pint 20c Gold Dust, 7 for * 25c ITRITY Iodized Salt, 3 for 25c I ' SNOW KING Baking Powder 22c White House COFFEE lb. 30c PALMOLIVE i for In Hollywood, 76 of the entire 80 beauty spedahu. recommend this olive and oaim oil soao Eagle Brand Banquet Tea, 1-4 lb. 23c Sunshine Crackers, 6 pkgs. .. 25c VERIBEST Potted Meat, 6 for 25c can -22 c LARGE YELLOW Bananas, 4 Ibk 25c Claussen’s ai^ Becker’s Bread and Crakes at All Q.
