H. Hawkins and .Miss Elise Hawl.ins spent Sunday in Laurens. Greenville, Sept. 6.—Trial of Coun ty Supervisor A. Frank Pridmore for tfie murder of Nick Sanders, a road engineer, ended in a mistrial here to day. Ju<lge E. C. Dennis ordered the mis trial when the jury reported at 9:30 o’clock Saturday morning it was un able to agree upon a verdict. The jury had had the case overnight, receiving it Friday afternoon. Trial of the case opeped Wednesday. No indication has been given as to when the county official’s new trial will be opened. The 55-year-oId supervisor shot San ders to death in July during an argut ment after Pridmore had driven over a road under construction by Sanders* forces. Pridmore contended that ha shot in self defense, testifying that Sanders made motions indicating that he was drawing a gun.- f V Dr. Frank F.
