She was identified with this church in an unusual way. In it she was bap tized; in it she professed her faith; in it she was married. She was vitaly interested in every phase of its wvirk. She has called no other place than 1 Clinton home. 1 In early child-hood she was a lead- j ing member of the children’s organi- i zations of her church. Later she was a j leader in the young people’s work, and I when still a girl she was elected sec- ! retary of the society for the older I women, which office she held for I many years. She was a charter mem- I her of both the Woman’s Foreign Mis- , sionary and the Ladies’ Aid societies, I and was several times an officer in ! each. After these two organizations ! were merginl into the Auxiliary, she held several offices in the new or- ization. She taught the infant class in Sunday school for many I years. She was a member of both i church and Sunday school choir* and I organist at times.
