C. ;1 l^riday, March 28th Limit April 2nd f $14.00 Round Trip Oh next Tuesday night, April I, at eight o’clock, in the Florida Street school auditorium, the high school pu pils will present a play, “Chintz Cot tage,” by Beulah King. The play fairly bristles with excit ing events. It tells the story of what happens at Minty’s summer cottage. Minty, a charmingly attractive girl of 20, bored with society, comes from the city to rusticate in the remote village of Meadowbrook. She brings with her a maid and settles down for a state of peace and quite. Then the lid blows off and as in plays only, one exciting event plies, on another taj startling climaxes. Minty does* not j rest, but she gets “a cliange” and, ineidentally, falls heir to a husband. The cast is an interesting one with j Minty (Medora Browning) topping [ the group. Following as a close sec-! ond is the maid (Doris Aughtry)j “skeered all the time.” Then there is i Minty’s aunt (Georgia Bee Blakely),! a “bcEs” with a matrimonial eye on j Mr. Kent (Dorsey McFadden); he needed a manager, and he got one, j Peter (Will Davis) is an innocent j cause for most of the trouble while, his sis.ex, Grace (Margaret Jones),i helps him in and out of several pre-| dicaments. Mrs. Dean’s (Lydie Leake) ^ part is short, but an excellent bit. j Come out and enjoy an evening with the high school students. Admission 25c and 35c.
