He was an up right man of high ideals, devoted to his church, his community and school, a citizen who could always be depend ed upon to do his part for the commu nity betterment in a public-spirited way. The deceased is survived by his widow, three daughters, Misses Agnes, .Louise and Grace Davis, and one son, Randolph. New Episcopal Church Rector For Laurens The Rev. C. P. Holbrook, formerly of Florida, now in charge of the Epis copal church at Greenwood, has ac cepted the rectorship of the Church of the Epiphany of Laurens. He will conduct his^first service here next Sunday morning, it is announced. He also takes up the work with the Epis copal church at Newberry', but will continue to reside in Greenwood.
