On November 9, the death angel en tered our home and took from it our darling mother and wife. ^ While her death was not unexpected 1 it came as a shock to her loved ones! and frierids'. She had been sick for fourteen months, most of the time in bed, yet without a murmur. She bore it all and never complained of all she suffered. At times when we were so blue and distressed over her condition 1 she would always smile and say, “Live your lives; mine is well spent. It is well with my soul.” We feel that in our loss there have been other mothers and wives her equal but none her superior. Altho our hearts are breaking, we submit to the “One who doeth all things well,” for we know that behind our dark cloud the sun still shines, for the life and memory of the mother we had lives op. She loved her home, ber loved ones, but best of all her God whom she trusted day by day. And in our hour of sorrow, our one grand con solation was- from one who loved her: not to live as others say live but to live as mother lived, and when our life’s work is done to die aa she died. i , Husband apd daughters. holders of the First National Bank cf (Clinton, S.
