Over 50 Have Subscribed For Building Purposes—The movement has met with a tremendous interest and’hearty support of Clinton people and you would be surprised how many of your friends,— young men and women have signified a desire to build within the next few years and are laying plans accordingly. As A Community Enterprise—There can be no worthier under taking. The movement was first begun when endorsed »by the Commercial Club in 1921. It will>do more to encourage home building b y folks of moderate means than any other influence. Clinton needs more homes owned by its younger families. As An Investment—Money placed in the Association in stock and on a share basis will yield from T 1 ^ to liy 2 per cent interest per annum depending on the activity of the Association. The security is the very safest local real estate. A New Series Every Six Months—The activity of a Building and Loan Association determines its earnings. With this i n-view a new series of at least 1,000 shares will be issued every half year. 16 Applications for loans Already—16 young men have subscrib ed and asked for a loan as soon as the Association begins opera tion. They wish to build as soon as the loans are negotiated. A tremendous and fertile field for the Association. The heartiest assurance that the Association will be active and will serve a definite purpose and fill a great need in Clinton. An Ideal Saving For A Young Man Or Woman — An obligation to lay aside a small amount every month out of the salary, staves off extravagance, saves money that otherwise would b e thrown away and gradually, without burden, builds up a nice estate. Resale And Withdrawal Easy—Any share holder may withdraw if necessary within the first 4 years with a small proportionate loss.
