The original offer of the Planters Company is for prizes of $25 for the best acre of potatoes, $15 for the second Lest, and $10 for the third best, to be awarded on the basis of yield, growth, quality and market ing desirability. The Bank of Timmonsville (thru Vice-President R. C. Rollings) de cided after the Planters’ Company had made its offer, that this bank would finance all boys of the Tim monsville section who wish to enter the competition, in thin way plants fertilizer, labor, and any other sup plies may be obtained by the young slers in thei- undertaking.
